Centre for Global & Social Analysis

Introduction

The Centre is reponsible for the following three programs offered as majors within the four-year Bachelor of Arts degree: Humanities, Political Economy, and Sociology. It is also responsible for the world history, European history and Asian history components of the History major in the Bachelor of Arts. The Centre is also involved in developing programs in the following academic areas: Human Geography, Global Studies, Philosophy, Environmental Studies, Music and Religious Studies.

The Centre programs offer approximately 95 core courses and recommended electives covering many disciplines. Those courses are prepared, taught and tutored by more than sixty professors and tutors.
